North Carolina Masters in Education

North Carolina’s Accountability and Curriculum Reform Effort (ACRE) is the first state initiative in the nation to simultaneously address learning standards, student assessments, and school accountability. Through 2013, ACRE will identify critical core knowledge and skills; create student tests that employ more open-ended questions, technology and real-world application of student knowledge; and create a new model for measuring school success, providing greater accountability between parents and teachers.

As you continue your own educational and professional development, you’ll be better able to clear the bar that’s currently being raised by North Carolina educators.
