New Jersey Masters in Education

New Jersey students are considered among the best-educated in the nation, ranking in the top 10 in elementary math assessment scores as well as in those achieving a bachelor’s degree or higher. Concurrently, the state ranks in the bottom five in terms of pupil-teacher ratio. More teachers are needed, and because of the state’s overall education level those teachers will need more education in order to stay both competitive and effective.

Nearly one out of every eight people in the state has at least a master’s degree. Therefore, continuing your own education will be critical to your success as a teacher in New Jersey.
